Just want to reach out to all of you who support me and follow what we do over here at letstalkaboutlife365.com – THANK YOU SO MUCH! Your positive words of encouragement and testimonies serve as a reminder to me that I am headed in the right direction by doing what God would have me to do in this season.  I want to tell you about some of the new things we have going on.

If you haven’t lately, please browse the website and check out what’s new.  I recently added a ‘Job Search’ page because in my quest to reach out and help, I came across so many people who were looking for jobs.  I figured why not help them all from one central location. That being said, if you or someone you know is looking for employment have them to check out https://letstalkaboutlife365.com/employment-opportunities/.

Business Connects’ is dedicated specifically to small businesses and non-profit organizations that are doing great things in the community. Periodically, I do feature articles for businesses to show support and help gain exposure. If you or someone you know owns a small businesses that motivates, encourages or inspires people in some way please have them contact me at letstalkaboutlife365@gmail.com.

Check out all the Videos we’ve made and Events coming up.  The newest page ‘Book Orders’ allows you to get your own personalized copy of Let’s Talk Life: A New Perspective shipped directly to you. I am really excited about this new page because there have been several requests to get books signed and this will allow me to do that.

So, as you can see there’s lots going on.  Take a look for yourself and leave comments to let me know what you think. Share letstalkaboutlife365.com with others. It’s time to fight against all the negativity. Make a decision to be positive.  Be inspired.  Spread love and walk in the light that has been placed on the inside of you.

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you”. (1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV)

“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:13-16 NKJV)

The Caring Place

DDDoodles_caring_equals_community

One of the most important keys to living life to the fullest is having the ability to give back to those in need. It’s sad to say, but it seems like lately the people who have the least are the ones who are more inclined to share and give to others. People who have more want to keep getting more, sometimes even if it means taking it from someone else. Such sad times, but I am here to say there is hope. There are people and places that still have hearts for others. Today I’d like to highlight one of those places.

Junction City Caring Place (JCCP) is a non-profit organization established in 2004, located at 1013 B W 8th Street in Junction City, Kansas. The Caring Place is a faith-based central resource center in Junction City, Kansas and its surrounding areas with FREE food, clothing, counseling and basic medical care. When I learned about JCCP, I knew immediately that I needed to be connected. The fact that people only have to show their ID to receive the free services offered by the Junction City Caring Place is amazing because most other organizations that provide free services require government documentation verifying the need for assistance.

The Junction City Caring Place has been an inspirational and motivating factor because of the results and the impact it has made in the community from when they first opened the doors back in 2004 to its position in the community currently in 2014. This organization has given support to over thousands of family in Junction City and the surrounding communities. Being faith-based gives the community a different perspective of the love of God through his giving help to one another during the difficult times in life.

The Caring Place is also looking to start offering free computer classes; basic computer skills, resume building and internet skills to those who might be interested.
