Stop Trying to Do it on Your Own

you-are-not-alone

Even the strongest people get tired at times, but God’s love for us, His power and His strength never diminish.  He is never too preoccupied or too busy to help and listen.  Remember, the word says that when we are weak that is when He is made strong. So in turn, His strength is the source of our strength. It is imperative however, that we look to the root of the problem.  A lot of times when we are going through, the tasks and responsibility that we are carrying can become overwhelming because we are trying to do it alone.   God never intended for it to be this way.  He didn’t bless us with a family or job or simply life in general for us to think that we had to bear the load all by ourselves.  He is here to help.  God knows you have bills that need to be paid, He knows your children need to eat every day.  We have to pray and talk to God being completely open and honest.  Doing so opens up the opportunity for Him to come in and provide the help that we need.  He already knows our mind-set but we must recognize it then ask that He take those feelings away and replace them with peace and assurance.

I have to point out one additional point, even though God never intended for us to have to carry the weight of life on our own we have to discern how important decisions are.  A decision is defined as a conclusion or resolution reached after consideration.  Decisions in life have a direct impact on life.  If you spend your rent money on a new outfit, then you can’t turn around pray and ask God to bless you with a roof over your head.  He already did that, you just messed up with what He gave you and did what you wanted to do.  I said all of that to say this, yes God is here to help us we just have to be responsible and be good stewards over what we have.

Don’t get it twisted my friends, God is our source.  Just because you get a paycheck from your job every month, does not make them your source.  Our Heavenly Father promises to lead us, never leave us and He will never, ever come short of His word.  If you feel as though everything is going wrong and you can’t make it any further, look to THE source and trust that He’s already working things out for your good.  You are not alone, so stop trying to do everything on your own.  #iDeclare  #stoptryingtodoitonyourown

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I come asking that you please forgive me for trying to do everything on my own.  I decree and declare right now that You are my source and I will never ever depend on anything in this world to provide all my needs.  I will be a good steward over everything that you bless me with.  Thank you for reminding me that I do not have to live this life alone, no matter who is or isn’t around me.  In Jesus name, Amen.

 Psalm23 Yeshua

Scripture:

Psalms 23 NLT “The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need.  He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk
through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me.
Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. You prepare a feast for me
in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil.
My cup overflows with blessings. Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord
forever.”

He Already Knows

Something I’ve been thinking about today and wanted to share.  When a problem arises in our life, we have to remember that God already had a plan for our breakthrough and victory over the situation prior to it ever happening. He is all-seeing and all-knowing, which means He is never surprised when the enemy attacks.  Although you may feel caught off guard or taken back by the present situation, this is not so for God.  He is never shocked or surprised trying to figure out what to do to help His children.  As humans, a lot of times we get so caught up in our feelings or emotions, when we shouldn’t.  Instead we have to get up, shake the dust off our feet, and do our part.  I will reiterate, DO OUR PART.  Let God do the ‘super’ and you do the ‘natural’.  No matter what the situation is, we must never lose focus.  If we focus on God and not the problem, we will see that He is so much bigger.  How do we focus on God???  We worship Him, we praise Him, we love on Him, we serve Him with a spirit of obedience, we spend time with Him and while doing this we will begin to see the manifestation of His solution.  This will also allow us to be in tune with His spirit so we can hear from Him clearly as He gives guidance and direction on how to move forward.

The element of surprise can be a good thing, but it can also be a bad thing.  I remember one situation that took place in my life that really shocked me.  I know that people can be so fickle at times, which is why for a vast majority of my life I have kept to myself, but every know and then I let people in.  This particular person did something that really shocked me and I remember when it happened, I prayed and asked God to never let me experience that again.  I asked Him to quicken my spirit and help me increase my discernment so that I won’t be caught off guard like that ever again.  I do believe that He heard my prayer because since then, I can honestly say that I haven’t felt that way.  Not to say that people haven’t done crazy things, but God has always prepared me both mentally and spiritually on how to deal.  And I believe that He will continue to do just that.

That being said, I’d like to end on this note…You will never be an exceptional person if you continue to combat only ordinary battles. Everything you are going through, surprise or no surprise, is making you stronger and EXCEPTIONALLY into the unique, distinctive individual that God created you to be. #iDeclare #Healreadyknows

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I thank you for this day.  I come thanking you God because I do believe that you already know everything that has happened, is happening and will happen in my life.  I trust in you and I decree and declare that from now on, I will do my part.  I can do nothing without you however, so please God take my hand and lead me.  Don’t ever allow the enemy to surprise me or catch me off guard.  Help me to be in tune with your spirit and increase my discernment.  Thank you for hearing my prayer Lord.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Scripture:

Job 28:24 ESV “For he looks to the ends of the earth and sees everything under the heavens.”

1 John 5:4 NAS “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world– our faith.”

You Are Never Alone

“The Lord was with him…” has been an ongoing theme in my research over the past few weeks.  As I began to meditate more and more about what this really means, I decided to write about.  Saved or not, here is a question I want to ask, do you believe that the Lord is with you? If so, do you believe He’s with you at all times?  What does that mean for you?  Because of the fact that this is something that has come up repeatedly, these are questions I had to seriously sit down and think about.  I do believe and take solace in recognizing God’s presence in my life.  And I believe that He is ever-present at all times, no matter what kind of situation I am in I can say with confidence and peace in my spirit that He is there.  I consider there to be many different answers to that last question, but success and favor are two that immediately come to mind.  Now, when I looked up the word favor, it says an attitude of approval or liking and to show approval and preference for.  Achievement, victory, accomplishment and triumph are a few words synonymous with success.  So based on my response and the definitions listed below, I think it is safe to say that if the Lord is with you at all times, success and favor are bound to be with you as well.  But let’s pause for a minute, what about trials and tribulations?  If you have trials and tribulations, any unwanted obstacles, situations or circumstances does that mean that God isn’t with you?  Absolutely not.

God being with us is a marvelous thing, and according to His word, He is most certainly with us at all times.  This doesn’t mean however, that everything will always be terrific or that there won’t be any difficulties that you have to overcome.  What you have to understand is that no matter how tough or bad it may feel, every time you come up against a hurdle, once you jump over it will actually push you even further towards success, if and only if you allow it to.  Remember, not only is the teacher quiet during a test, but the teacher is right there the entire time overlooking the class to make sure everything is done the right way.  Now let me add this food for thought… many people think that when they are going through a test in life, God is trying to teach them something. Not so my friends! A good teacher does not use a test to teach you something. The test measures what you already know.

Success is a state of mind.  So as you take the good with the bad, trusting and holding on to the fact that God is with you in all things will enable you to walk lucratively, with your head held high no matter what.  God wants His children to be successful, victorious, triumphant, etc.  It is just a process that we must go through to get there.  #iDeclare #youareneveralone

Prayer:

Father God in the name of Jesus, I come thanking you for your presence in my life.  Thank you for allowing me to understand that just as you were with the men and women in the bible you are with me.  I decree and declare that I will walk in the success and favor that comes with your presence in my life and that no situation (positive or negative) will change that.  I thank you Lord for working everything together for my good and for Your glory. Please help me to pass and every test that comes my way.  Failure is not an option.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
