Stop Trying to Do it on Your Own

you-are-not-alone

Even the strongest people get tired at times, but God’s love for us, His power and His strength never diminish.  He is never too preoccupied or too busy to help and listen.  Remember, the word says that when we are weak that is when He is made strong. So in turn, His strength is the source of our strength. It is imperative however, that we look to the root of the problem.  A lot of times when we are going through, the tasks and responsibility that we are carrying can become overwhelming because we are trying to do it alone.   God never intended for it to be this way.  He didn’t bless us with a family or job or simply life in general for us to think that we had to bear the load all by ourselves.  He is here to help.  God knows you have bills that need to be paid, He knows your children need to eat every day.  We have to pray and talk to God being completely open and honest.  Doing so opens up the opportunity for Him to come in and provide the help that we need.  He already knows our mind-set but we must recognize it then ask that He take those feelings away and replace them with peace and assurance.

I have to point out one additional point, even though God never intended for us to have to carry the weight of life on our own we have to discern how important decisions are.  A decision is defined as a conclusion or resolution reached after consideration.  Decisions in life have a direct impact on life.  If you spend your rent money on a new outfit, then you can’t turn around pray and ask God to bless you with a roof over your head.  He already did that, you just messed up with what He gave you and did what you wanted to do.  I said all of that to say this, yes God is here to help us we just have to be responsible and be good stewards over what we have.

Don’t get it twisted my friends, God is our source.  Just because you get a paycheck from your job every month, does not make them your source.  Our Heavenly Father promises to lead us, never leave us and He will never, ever come short of His word.  If you feel as though everything is going wrong and you can’t make it any further, look to THE source and trust that He’s already working things out for your good.  You are not alone, so stop trying to do everything on your own.  #iDeclare  #stoptryingtodoitonyourown

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I come asking that you please forgive me for trying to do everything on my own.  I decree and declare right now that You are my source and I will never ever depend on anything in this world to provide all my needs.  I will be a good steward over everything that you bless me with.  Thank you for reminding me that I do not have to live this life alone, no matter who is or isn’t around me.  In Jesus name, Amen.

 Psalm23 Yeshua

Scripture:

Psalms 23 NLT “The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need.  He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk
through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me.
Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. You prepare a feast for me
in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil.
My cup overflows with blessings. Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord
forever.”

Will You Invite Him In?

God is always trying to work in us, in our families, in our situations and in our circumstances. He is Immanuel, God with us.  He is Jehovah Shammah, ever-present. He calls himself I AM, not I was or I will be, which means He is present right now ready to work in our lives.  Now that I have enlightened you with this great piece of information, do you think this will this change anything in your present life?  If not, it should.  It should give you a better perspective of just who God is.  As our relationship with God grows, it is easier to understand the many facets of who He is.  Before the relationship can grow, it must first be established.  God is such a gentleman. He will not force Himself into our lives, He must be invited in. Once we give Him the invitation and welcome Him in, He begins to remold us and make us into what His original intention was before the craziness of this world messed us up.

For me personally, knowing that God is with me gives me confidence.  I am able to walk in that peace that Paul talks about in Philippians 4:7, the peace of God that surpasses all understanding.  It makes me feel as though no matter what is going on around me, good or bad, I am taken care of.  No matter what the enemy does to try to attack, I am alright.  Why?  Because God is with me.  Have you invited Christ into your life as your personal Lord and Savior?  I have invited Him into my life.  I am absolutely nothing without God and truth be told, neither are you.  None of us are.  I tell Him each and everyday how much I need Him and thank Him for loving me enough to never leave me.  God is no respecter of persons.  He does not show favoritism, so that means He loves you just as much as He loves me and everyone else in this world.  Even when we sin, He still loves us.  Even when we don’t love ourselves, He loves us.  I can truly testify that the remolding can sometimes be a tough process, but the end result will be pure excellence. Will you invite Him in?  #iDeclare #willyouinviteHimin

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I thank you for being who you are.  I now understand that you are Jehovah Shammah, which means you are ever-present in my life and I thank you.  Thank You for being with me God.  I need you Lord, for I am nothing without you.  I invite you into my life and everything concerning me.  Thank you for loving me, even when I don’t love myself and for shaping me and making me into the person you created me to be.  I honor You, praise You, and thank You for hearing my prayer.  In Jesus Name, Amen.

***If you want to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Personal Savior right now, pray this prayer…***

Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge that I am a sinner.  I am sorry for my sins and I repent.  Please God, forgive me.  I need your forgiveness.

I believe that your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin.

You said in Your Holy Word, that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved.

Right now I confess Jesus as the Lord of my soul. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved.

Thank you Jesus for your unlimited grace which has saved me from my sins. I thank you Jesus that your grace never leads to license, but rather it always leads to repentance. Therefore Lord Jesus transform my life so that I may bring glory and honor to you alone and not to myself.

Thank you Jesus for dying for me and giving me eternal life.
Amen.

*If you just said this prayer and you meant it with all your heart and you have repented for your sins, I believe that you just got saved and are born again.  Congratulations on making the very best decision you could ever make in life.

Just One of Those Days

Life

Have you ever just woke up feeling like it was going to be just one of those days.  When you don’t want to do anything but stay in bed.  That is how the day started off for me.  It’s like I had an uneasy feeling in my spirit.  My mind was racing at a hundred miles a minute thinking about everything and nothing all at the same time.  As I got the girls up and got them ready, I prayed.  This gave me some peace, but the lingering feeling didn’t really go away.  To be honest it only got worse once I left the house and started moving around.  Nothing went anything like I thought it would.  I ended up being gone for a lot longer than I expected because my short to-do list turned into a long list of surprises.  By the grace of God, I made it through.  What I’d like to talk about is how do we handle days like these?  Why do we even have them?

Although I am not a fan of days like these, I truly believe that God allows us to go through to draw us closer to Him.  Yes, you may have a set schedule in regards to your prayer life or time that you spend with God.  I do to.  But sometimes we get so caught up in our day-to-day that God wants to break up the regularity. He wants us to pray differently, read our word differently, just overall spend time with Him differently. I know at one point, there was a time in my life where I would spend Tuesday and Thursday morning as my in-depth prayer time and study my bible comprehensively on Monday and Wednesday.  Now, I would throw prayer in every day as well as bible study, but God showed me that He wanted to change things up a bit.  He wanted to modify my regular scheduled programming.  When there is transformation and growth taking place, you cannot continue to do the same old thing the same old way because if you do you will get the same old results.  This can be said for everyday life, not just spiritually.  The definition of insanity is doing the same thing expecting different results, hence where the uneasy feeling comes in.  God doesn’t want His children to be crazy.  He is constantly growing and maturing us in Him and in order for that to happen, something’s in our life and in our everyday ‘norms’ are going to have to shift.

As for how we handle when the shift is taking place, first and foremost we have to acknowledge it for what it is.  When you get that feeling on the inside, but you aren’t sure what’s going on you must first acknowledge that something is in fact going on.  Don’t just count it off as being tired or depressed.  No, that is what the enemy would have you to believe.  When those feelings come, talk to God.  Not just because you know it’s the right thing to do, be 100 percent honest with Him and tell Him how you feel.  Be real with God.  If you aren’t real, then there is no way you’re going to be able to make it through.  Eventually the front that you are putting up will be exposed.  Besides,  He already know anyway.  When you express your feelings take a minute, and pause.  Hear what He has to say back to you.  Think about it like this, when you have a conversation with someone you talk and then you listen.  Do the same with God, in your conversation take the time to listen.

It can be tough to experience days like what I’ve mentioned above, but what I want you all to get is that you are not the only one it happens to so try your best to see the bigger picture.  Having just one of those days, could really be a great thing because that is evidence that a shift is taking place.  I don’t know about you, but I say Lord shift me, shape me, mold me and make me into the woman of God that you created me to be.  There’s a reason that God allows things to happen in our life.  Embrace it. Learn from it.  After all, that’s what living life is all about.  #iDeclare #justoneofthosedays

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for seeing me through just one of those days.  Although it may not be the most pleasant experience when I am going through, help me to see the bigger picture and truly discern what it is that you would have me to do at that moment.  I decree and declare that I will embrace change.  I will learn from it and as transformation is taking forth in my life, it will push me towards my destiny.  In Jesus name, Amen.
