Year End BANG!!!

Only a few days left in 2013, what are you going to do to end this year with a bang???  Most people get excited for the New Year, but there’s still about 4 days left that you must conquer before you get there.  I know you’ve heard the saying, live each day as if it’s your last so my challenge to you for the rest of 2013 is to do just that.  Love a little harder, hug a little longer. Whatever you do, don’t let the obstacles from yesterday or today stop you from moving forward.  There is still time to accomplish those goals you set at the beginning of the year.  The choice is yours.  Make a decision and do something today that your future (starting in 2014) will thank you for. Great Expectations

We hear the saying all the time that we should not judge others.  I’d like to add to that for just a moment.  Not only should we not judge others, but we must stop looking at others to find perfection.  In other words, stop having such big expectations of other people.  Instead of putting high demands on other people and expecting them to be something they are not or do something they cannot, put those demands on yourself.

Acknowledge areas that you are weak in and work on them. Acknowledge areas that you are strong in and strengthen them even more. It is not fair to people for others to always put such lofty demands on them. We all have issues in life.  The way you handle these issues is what makes you unique and different.  Or at least it should.  If everyone got it in his or her mind to focus on self, this thing called life would be so much better.
